Our group is headed by food & beverage veterans that have built and operated a number of renowned brands in Hong Kong and abroad.

Benjamin Ang, Partner

With over 20 years’ experience in the F&B industry, Benjamin single-handedly created and opened a wide variety of recognizable eateries in Hong Kong.

These brands include “Social Place”, a contemporary Chinese restaurants, “the dining room” under the Xiao Nan Guo’s Shanghainese chain group, Maxim’s “Jade Concepts,” and “Simply Life”, a European-style café, where he was co-creator. Both Social Place and the dining room received the Top Tables of the Year honors awarded by HK Magazine.

Brenda

Brenda Wu, Partner & General Manager

Brenda is a veteran in the F&B industry – she started her career with Xiao Nan Guo Group with only one restaurant back in the 80’s. Responsible for a number of roles including corporate development, she was responsible for opening 9 restaurants for the Group and identifying key M&A targets.

Prior to joining Dining Workshop, Brenda was General Manager of Putien and brought Putien, a Fujianese restaurant, to Hong Kong from Singapore.  She played a large role in opening a total of 3 Putien restaurants and a central kitchen in Hong Kong in less than 2 years.
